VIDEO: The following video (make sure you take a close look at the chart in the video) from Bloomberg TV clearly shows us that our current US recovery is dismal. Since the bottom of the market in 2009, we are growing at a considerably less robust rate than previous US recoveries in the 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, and early 00′s. And, yes, our growth is even slower than the recovery in Japan, the poster child of slow recoveries with their “lost decade.” This short video is only 42 seconds long, but it says it all.
Our current administration and their terrible government policies are taking us down the wrong path. The recovery since 2009 has been slow and we are indeed driving towards a “fiscal cliff” (Fed Chairman Bernanke’s own description) rather than experiencing a growing economy. I think it’s time for some change. What are your thoughts?
Thanks for reading and have a great day,
